Freshwater lobsters are decapod crustaceans and this means that their bodies are made up of up to 20 different ‘segments’ with each one often having an appendage. Freshwater lobsters are known for eating fish food, algae wafers, other fish, snails, other lobsters, plants – real or fake, and even their moulted exoskeletons.
